The LaCie Unveils 5big NAS Pro And 20TB Thuderbolt Drive is storage device developed by LaCie who also develops other digital storage equipment. This amount of storage is a bit too much for the average user, but IT professionals and small business owners would benefit. Giving them a way to securely storage company and customer data for a reasonable cost. The Thunderbolt drive uses:

  2.  Up to 20 TB of storage
  3. Speed up to 785MB/sec
  4. Ships with five 7400rpm/64MB cache configured in RAID 0
  5. Priced at $1,199
  6. Hybrid cloud technology with a  200MB/sec download speed

 There are also two Ethernet jacks that allows you to plug your Desktop or Laptop directly into the Thunderbolt. The LaCie 5big NAS Pro is currently available in the LaCie Online Store and LaCie Partners in 0TB, 10TB, 20TB starting at $549.

The technology I will be reviewing today is the Seagate 1TB Wireless Plus Mobile HDD with Built-In Wi-Fi. This product will allow IT users to share programs and documents all on one network that they can access from their android phone, computer, and tablet. The Seagate 1TB Wireless Plus HDD works as a Wi-Fi Hotspot which can be secured with passwords so that the unauthorized cannot access its content. It can also be plugged into an external source using USB 3.0. At a very reasonable $199.99 this product is not only a excellent tool in the IT environment, but also for a personal home network.  Here are some of its specifications:

The new technology I will go over today is called the Wi-Spy Spectrum Analyzer. This gadget that wireless network consultants and IT professionals will love, is easy to use. It is a perfect choice if you are looking for a solution to analyze, troubleshoot and optimize your wireless networks. The Wi-Spy works by connecting the gadget through a USB port and running the program that comes with it. The program that is used is called Chanalyzer which turns data collected from a Wi-Spy into highly interactive charts and graphs, allowing users to visualize their wireless landscape. Their are four versions and a bundle of the Wi-Spy Spectrum Analyzer which are as followed:
  • Wi-Spy 2.4x $199; runs at only 2.4 GHz and allows only the basic tools such as Chanalyzer Basic.
  • Wi-Spy 2.4x Pro $599; also runs at only 2.4 GHz and allows more advanced tools than the basic 2.4x model runs Chanalyzer Pro.
  • Wi-Spy DBx $599 The difference is that the DBx series can run both 2.4 and 5 GHz this version only allows the basic tools runs Chanalyzer Basic.
  • Wi-Spy DBx Pro $999 Runs both 2.4 and 5 GHz allows the use of all tools runs Chanalyzer Pro.
  • The bundle which comes with everything priced at $1999
