The new Technology I will review today is called iTwin Connect which has been previously. There was a new and improved iTwin first showcased at CES 2013 which took the file sharing and browsing of any other version to the next step. The technology works by you having two iTwin USB sticks in which you can leave one at your PC at home or in your office, carrying the other with you for secure file sharing. There is no data stored on the second key it's purpose is to set up a secure connection to the other device in order to access files. The 2013 release of iTwin Connect adds support for remote control, for VPN connections to a corporate network and for access to public internet connections via an iTwin-hosted VPN.

On January 8, 2013 the CES tech demo were shown company from Sony to Microsoft. Many new and upcoming hardware was shown but the one I will touch on today is called the Razer Edge. A tablet created by Razer a gaming company. The cost of the product was announced at about 1000  U.S dollars. The Razer Edge was created to play high end pc games such as Call of Duty on the go.(Newman, 2013)

The Specification and Features are as followed:

  • Utilizes Windows 8 UI
  • 10.1 inch
  • Nvidia GT640M graphics card
  • 4 GB of RAM
  •  64 GB solid state drive
There is also a pro version with a Core I7 processor and either 128 or 256 GB solid state drive for about 1300 U.S Dollars. The main gripe is that the battery life for such high end gaming is not high a abysmal 2 hours of game time. This sort of tech could change the entire landscape of gaming as we know it.(Newman, 2013)
